So here are the two petunias in my garden, both are in my Moon Garden. The first is a large white one, with a slightly violet/iridescent throat. I purchased these in a market pack from Home Depot for about a dollar. They are short and stout and bloom their bloomin’ arses off, even if I forget to deadhead.
Here’s the second which I grew from seeds that a friend sent me. They are Rainmaster, which I believe is based o the fact they are supposedly rejuvenated after a storm. They are smaller, closer to the old-fashioned petunia, pure white and trailing. Good for baskets, or as I like to use them — winding their way through other plants and hiding ugly knees. Oh, and they have a wonderful light scent.
